Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland (WRI) is organising this fundraiser

Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland is appealing to you to help us build a Hospital for Ireland’s wildlife.

In 2023 there is still no permanent dedicated Wildlife Hospital in Ireland.

Creating an interim hospital in 2021 not only allowed us to return recovered wildlife to where they belong, but also to demonstrate the need for wildlife rehabilitation on this scale. By inviting government members to visit the site in Navan we were able to show them the incredible conservation work being done which resulted in two parliamentary questions being raised on our behalf and a small amount of funding at the end of the year. But not nearly enough.

We Need Your Help

Now we need your help. We need it because Ireland’s wildlife is in trouble, many species are struggling to survive, some are becoming extinct. The wildlife we have need all the help we can give.

The nitty gritty

We need €90,000 to get started on the build but the estimated cost of the full build of the Wildlife Rehabilitation & Teaching Hospital and Education Centre project is expected to be closer to €3million. Being open to the public for walks and talks, the Hospital is expected to be self-funding in a short time frame.
