Cameo's Last Year of School

I have had the song Wind of Change by The Scorpions power ballading through my head for the past few days. I have known for some time now that big changes were getting ready to enter into my life, but I was not sure how those changes were going to play out exactly. Would I be able to work and keep my current job? That was the question and the question has been answer...

There are no part time positions open so after four years, I will be parting ways with my employer at the end of August.

After a lot of thinking of various possibilities on how I could structure the next 6-to-12 months of my life, I have decided that the best course of action would be for me to intern full time during the fall semester, graduate in December, and hopefully land myself a job soon after. That seems to fall together much better than interning part time and trying to struggle away with whatever job I *might* be able to find between August and next May that would work with my intern and school schedule. There are just too many variables in the second scenario.

2015 will be 15 years that I have been working towards my educational goals. Being that I have been working on them so long and was not wise with my financial aid in the beginning, I have reached the summit but have run out of money to pay for it. I have enough money set aside that I can pay for my last semester of school OR 3 ½ months of bills but NOT BOTH. So I am looking into every avenue I can to get the money together to pay for school. That is where this GoFund account comes in. I am not too proud to ask because I want this so badly and I will do what I can to make it happen. If I could have my tuition covered then what I have in my savings and 401k could be stretch a little further to see me through to graduation in December. Every penny will go towards my tuition so I can finish my degree.

The winds of change are coming and while I am scared, I know I will make it and at the end I will have my bachelor’s degree in social work. It may not be easy. It may be a little messy. But every step and struggle will be worth it.  :) Thank you and blessed be!
