funding during Ken's cancer treatments

Ken Morris is a wonderful man who was at my side during a brain tumor surgery three years ago.  That surgery left me with a hearing and balance deficit.  Ken's arms have been there to help hold me up when needed. Now, Ken has been diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer and without treatment has a 3-6month prognosis. He is receiving care in Canada. I must be at his side. His family is not close by. I am only able to work a minimal schedule due to traveling, procedures, appointments and treatment.  We have a mortgage for our home, an apartment we are renting in Canada and monthly bills that I am trying to pay.  Our funds and my IRA are very low at this point as our savings are still being used to bring us back from my surgery.
