Smart Brailler and Summer Camp for Aleah

Our daughter Aleah was born with a total of 4 congenital eye disorders (optic nerve hypoplasia, sclerocornea, coloboma, micropthalmia) which combined have resulted in complete blindness.
From the moment we learned about Aleah's blindness we have made it our mission to ensure she is given every opportunity to lead a full and independent life. We refuse to let her blindness define her. Aleah is a smart and often silly girl who loves to learn! We would love to exposure her to every opportunity to learn.
Your donation will support the purchase of a new Brailler to help her as she starts kindergarten next year. We would also love to get her in some local science and nature summer camps as well as begin piano lessons. Any extra money raised will be applied towards extracurricular activities to support learning. The cost of the Brailler is over 2000 dollars however if the money can be raised before June 25th then we can purchase it for 200 less!
