Send Joel to Sewanee Writers' Conference

Hi! My name is Joel Ferdon and I am a graduate student at McNeese State University studying for an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) and an MA in Literature. I just found out that I was accepted to study poetry at the prestigious Sewanee Writer's Conference, but I could use some help to get there. I am about to enter into my last year of graduate studies, I am getting married in twenty days, and I have a wonderful black lab puppy named Agnes. This is the first conference that I have ever been accepted to and am thrilled at the prospect of attending. The conference is from July 22 to August 3. It is located at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. I am trying to raise conference fees and airfare, because everything is included once I am there. Below I have posted links to the Sewanee Writer's Conference Wikipedia page and also the conference website so that you can get more of a feel for what the conference does. I have until June 22 to raise the money, but I will keep the Go Fund Me account running until I go to the conference in July. Any and all support, monetary or otherwise (which includes good thoughts and prayers), is more appreciated than you know. I would love to send you a poem or a postcard (or both) for your help.
