This is my Husband, Dennis Matherne, AKA "Menue". On April 23rd, 2014 he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Blood Cancer.....In Sept. of 2013 he had a Heart attack and was flown to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center .....Dec 25th, Christmas Day, 2013 he had the FLU....Jan. of 2014, he had Pneumonia. He has never been the '"same" since Sept.. In April, when we found out about his cancer, it was very heart breaking to us. But with good spirits and Prayers from SO many people, he is fighting so hard and WILL get through this. We go to New Orleans twice a week for his Chemo. And after about 4 cycles of this treatment, he will need a bone marrow transplant. (Stem Cell).
We are YET to start collecting his Short Term Disablity. It's taking forever. But it is suppose to start soon. The Medical bills are adding up AND we still need to continue paying our INSURANCE with BC/BS so "they" don't lapse us. So, if there is any way you can donate to help with all this, It would be greatly appreciated. We never in our wildest dreams thought we would EVER have to ask for donations. But I know you ALL understand and all of your Prayers would also be SO deeply appreciated. Thanks to All and God Bless.
