Recently Aaron and I volunteered abroad in Ghana. We worked at an orphanage that was in a small town outside of Accra. While we were there we met a three year old boy named Yow. He was born with a birth defect on his right foot forcing him to walk on his tip toes. Yow has been able to manage walking like this for most of his life. However, while we were there at times he struggled walking and was unable to participate in playing with other children. As he gets older it continues to effect his daily life. Soon he will be unable to walk because of the amount of weight on it. We are raising money to pay for all cost of the surgery and also for us to fly to Ghana to be with him at this time. If we exceed the amount of donations that we need all extras will go directly to the Potter's Village Orphanage. Any donation is greatly appreciated and change Yow's life forever.
