'Help for Hanna'

When my niece Hanna began seeking help for her symptoms, she never imagined it would take 10 long months to get a diagnosis. Throughout, however, she remained vigilant and fought to get the answers and help that she needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *After 10 months of searching for help, Hanna was diagnosed with 'Papillary Carcinoma (cancer) in Thyroglossal Duct Cyst' ~a extremely rare cancer of the thyroglossal duct, affecting less than 1% of patients with thyroid abnormalities. Hanna recently had surgery on Nov. 7 and will also have a complete thyroidectomy (complete removal of her thyroid) followed by radioactive iodine therapy and thyroid-stimulating hormone suppression for the rest of her life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hanna is the proud mother of 3 amazing sons. She's an amazing single-parent who believes there is nothing in this world that is more important or rewarding than to be able to love, support and guide her children through every stage of their lives. Hanna is genuine, she's smart, funny, patient and kind... she overflows with love for her sons and family, they mean the world to her, as she does to them.
But she's had a tough year and she is really struggling financially because of it. I am her aunt, and along with her father Mark, we are "Hanna's Team" :-) and together, we are hoping to raise funds that allow Hanna to 'BREATHE' while her body heals as stress-free as possible.

You would be helping this beautiful family get over some hurdles and through the holidays. Hanna could catch up on some bills, purchase a set of well-needed tires, groceries and Christmas presents for her sons.
