Get ipsi home!

Hi we are Nicole and Joe and we need your help to bring our girl Ipsi home to England.

We are a young couple who are just trying to do some good in the world. Starting with this!

We decided to come out to greece to visit family and have some time over here. After being here a week or two we were on our way to dinner when we noticed a very skinny, unwell, abandoned german sheperd pup by the side of the road. She was totally dehydrated, so much that she could not stand walk or even stand up for longer than a moment. We could not just leave her there! However, we were on a scooter. And that's where the journey begins...

We decided we had to find someone willing to take us and the dog to where we were staying. We ended up in 5 different tourists' rented cars to 5 different points along the way to our house having to wave each of them by the side of the road. After doggy car sickness and 5 kind humans, we had her in a safe place.

After looking on the local facebook group the corfu grapevine we found a post of another local, couple who had noticed her too, begging the public to save this dog as she had been abandoned and left alone and that she had been there for many days.

We of course let them know she was safe.

We named her Ipsi straight away. And fell in love every minute with her.

After seeing the vet a day or two later she told us she was around 6/7 months and clearly very underweight. We decided to get blood tests, the results were she is totally healthy with no disease or ailments.

Ipsi is the most gentle, loving, loyal, energetic and absolutely hilarious dog you will ever come across and she has us wrapped around her paws already. Of course the trouble we are having is the funds to take her back to England. It is proving very expensive and we did not prepare for this to happen to us. We have managed to pay for her vaccines that are required/blood tests but we just need those flights and chaperone from the airport and to take her through the airport. That is where our faith in the public comes into it and we really need your help.

We cannot abandon her like she has been before. She loves us and we love her so very much.

I know everyone is a bit low on cash after this last year but every little helps and I know there are people out there, like us, who want to take these poor abandoned dogs off the streets for a better life.
