There are a lot of pet stories on here already, all from owners who love their babies as much as we love our Rocky. Rocky needs our help, and we need yours. All these causes are equally important; we hope that you’ll open your heart and support us on this difficult yet hopeful journey… with that said we’d love if you would consider supporting Rocky by donating to his ACL surgery fund. A little about our baby boy Rocky:
Rocky (AKA Dwayne "The Rock") started his life at the East Valley Animal Care Center in Tempe, AZ, recused from euthanasia at 2 months by a mutual friend. Unfortunately, only a few months after adopting Rocky, they took a traveling position and could not tend. Rocky was adopted into a house hold of young college boys where he was the life of the party for many years. Over Rocky's lifetime, he has made 100's of people smile with his smug mug and little bull attitude. He is loved by many and anyone will tell you that his favorite command is defnitley "roll over".
He then went on to live fulltime with daddy, Jason, and mommy, Ashley where he has been for the last 6 years.
Over the last few months the limping began... we took the steps necessary to heal him without surgery to any avail, unfortunately surgery has been recommended as the only option. His doctor, Dr. Dunning, assures us that with as many years as he has left, in order to enhance the quality of his life, the surgery is essential in maintaining the quality of his life - pain free. We had set aside money, knowing that this was a possibility; unfortunately it has gone to the blood work, X-rays, and consultations and it is just not enough.
And yes, Rocky is a Pit Bull; been through extensive K9 training, which in turn helps him reflect the loving home we’re strived to provide him and hope to continue to provide unto him.
So here we ask on behalf of one with no voice (Rocky) to open your hearts and help support us on Rocky's long road to recovery! Anything helps, even $5.
