Matthew’s Fight with Leukemia

My son Matthew Gama was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lukemia a little over a week ago.  Since the diagnosis he has already started chemo treatments. And will continue to be in the hospital for the next 3-4 weeks depending on his progress.
He and his girlfriend Amanda of 8 years  are both teachers and bought a beautiful home together last year. Mathew is 25 years old and is a math teacher at West Warwick High School and due to his diagnosis he will be out of work for at least a year.
I have started this go fund me to help them financially with medical bills as well as the cost of living. Friends and family have asked if there is anything they can do. Making a donation of any amount would be helpful and very much appreciated.
This is the time of year Damian and I usually fund raise and walk for JDRF to support Damian’s struggle with diabetes.  He and I decided that helping Matthew’s cause at this time is more important and would like to ask that people have donated to us in the past would consider donating to help Mathew through this very rough time in his life.
