It is with heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to our dear friend, neighbor and beloved husband, father and grandfather, Rick Pownall. After six long weeks in the ICU, fighting as hard as he could, he lost his battle with the very, rare bacterial infection that struck him so suddenly. He has left us far too soon.
Rick and his family were already overwhelmed with the tremendous weight of his mounting medical bills. Now, his family is faced with the additional costs of a funeral. In a time when they are grief stricken and at their lowest emotional state, we wanted to do all we could to help.
