Ukraine Mission Trip

As some of you may know, I have been presented with the challenging yet amazing ministry opportunity to serve in the Ukraine this summer. God has guided my heart to join a small team traveling to Ukraine to work and serve orphan children. Myself, along with four others will be serving with “Hope for Orphans” from July 20th, 2014-July 30st, 2014. We will take part in planning and leading vacation Bible school for these orphan children who long for love and affection.These children suffer from the absence of the love and care of a family, so we feel moved to fill this deficiency with the love of Jesus Christ as his hands and feet. Some of these children experience special needs and developmental disabilities while others are orphans who come from abandonment, abuse and violence. Summer camps are the highlight of the year for many orphans, which God uses in wonderful ways to help them grow.

I do, however, need your help. I need your support to help me go to Ukraine and spread the love of Christ. But before you commit to my cause of going to Ukraine, please prayerfully consider what your role can be in supporting our ministry in Ukraine. My two biggest needs are for your prayer support and your financial support. The cost of the entire trip is $2500 and our nearest payment of $1700 is due June 5th, 2014.  Please know that your gift would be an investment in someone’s eternity.
