Help Save a Family's Home

I'm writing with a somewhat urgent request. A family we are close to has been hit with several waves of bad luck, and very soon their house will enter foreclosure. The father of three is an Iraq war vet, and recently discharged, has had trouble landing a job. There are a few positive opportunities in the works, but unfortunately these will not arrive in time to save their home.
I've see marvelous things happen on Facebook (in between selfies and cat videos), and I'm counting on the generosity of friends and strangers to come to this family's aid. Sometimes we need to be each other's good luck, right?
If you can give anything at all, thank you. If you can't please share this and thank you for that. I apologize for the rather thin details but my purpose is not to make them famous, just to give them some money. The amount I need to raise is $15,000. And I need it ASAP. Please share! And thank you!
