Priscila was diagnosed on October 2012 with the TOS syndrome. Her reaction is of muscular contraction on her back muscles, from the back of her neck through her middle back. She also presents muscular fatigue and muscle weakness on her arms.
She could not raise her arms because blood flow stopped. She has severe pain all day, and for that reason she is not attending school. Her pain in a scale from 1 to 10 is between 8 and 9 every day. We live in Costa Rica, Central America, and here there is little knowledge and experience with TOS, but we fortunately found Dr. Karl Illig in USF in Tampa, who is one of the very few doctors who specializes in TOS, and he can treat her immediately.
