Judy's Dream

Judy Henderson Morris is a wonderful friend to all of us at Walla Walla Valley Academy, especially to the class of 1974.  Judy loved to sew, paint, garden and play the piano.  Some of us wore clothing that she tailored just for us.  A few years ago, Judy experienced a stroke that has left her with some disabilities.  She misses working in her garden.  She has been experiencing depression due to her inability to get out and get things done.   All of us in her graduating class want to see her be able to enjoy gardening by having her own wheelchair accessible greenhouse filled with amazing plants and dwarf trees.  Imagine the fragrances of Meyer Lemon blossoms, and dwarf Valencia oranges permeating the air as Judy gives the plants in her special world some of her tender loving care!  She will be able to sit comfortably in her chair as she works at the gardening benches.  Let’s even make it possible for her to listen to her favorite classical pianists as she works.  Judy has chosen the greenhouse featured.  We just need to gather the funds and help to build this little haven for Judy.   Let's give Judy a picture of our love for her.
This green house is on sale, so let’s raise the funds and get started.  Shipping is free, too!  Winter is the darkest time for Judy.  If we pass our goal, we can outfit the greenhouse with shade cloths, a ventilation system, and heating for cold winter days.
