Fire Disaster

Asking for help from family and friends:  On April 15th, my sister's house caught fire and sustained severe damage.  The insurance she has on the house only covers minimal structural damage and does not cover any contents, appliances (even if they were built-in), or expenses for living away from the home during reconstruction.  They will not assist with her mortgage payments during the reconstruction either, so she is not able to rent another home during the projected five-month restoration of her home.

My sister, Stephanie Painter, is a 68 year old grandmother who lives on a very modest retirement income.  Her son and his wife passed away suddently five years ago, and she has been raising their four children for the past five years.  She also ha a daughter and 8 year old granchild living in the home. She lives in Arroyo Grande (a county of San Luis Obispo). All of the family has had to be farmed out to different communities during the reconstruction, and Stephanie has to drive from city to city to take the kids back and forth from school.  She is disabled from a previous severe back injury and Diabetes.
