My name is Aleksandar Hercegovac and i grew up in Veliko Gradiste, Serbia. I want to organize these donations so that we can help the people of Serbia in these devastating times.
Serbia has been hit by the worst flooding in the Balkans since records began 120 years ago. Three months' worth of rain fell on the region in just a few days, causing rivers to burst their banks and sweep into people's homes.
People are without homes and need any kind of help. This is a total catastrophe of biblical proportions. Half of the country is in danger of not having any electricity, we're talking about whole cities, not villages, that are being evacuated. The whole country is in the state of emergency!!
Please donate as much as you can even if it is only $1. Any amount can and will make a great help to the people of Serbia who were displaced from their homes.
