In May 2017, Our friend Joey got a bad infection in his right ankle and leg. The Doctors think it was from a bug bite or unknown origin. His Leg swelled from his toes to his knee. After several surgeries and debridements to save his leg, removing muscles and other necrotic tissue, Joey is left with a permanent foot drop. 6 weeks in the hospital battling the infection with high doses of I.V. antibiotics have left the Infectious disease doctors baffled as to what exactly this infection is.
Custom "A.F.O,"  braces are needed to be made so he can walk again. Physical Therapy and intense rehab needs to be started immediately
