Coronavirus Masks

Coronavirus is ravaging NJ.  NJ is the second-hardest hit state in the country.  Our hospital workers are on the front-line in the fight against this pandemic.  Unfortunately, they do not have the equipment they need to stay safe.  The CDC is also now recommending that everyone wear masks when they leave the home.  There are just not enough masks to go around.

Since folks are encouraged to shelter-in-place, most folks are working from home, and no one is going out.  The demand for dry cleaning has severely dipped.  To keep our employees working, and to help with the shortage of masks, Custom Cleaners has shifted resources to produce masks.

We have been paying for materials and labor out of our own pockets.  This has become more challenging due to the fact that our business is down significantly at the same time.  We are not selling these masks, preferring to donate them, as that does more good.  Nevertheless, we are willing to accept donations to help cover the material costs and labor.  Every donation is greatly appreciated.  Donates benefit our small business, Custom Cleaners.  #SmallBusinessRelief

Below is a picture of our very talented seamstress (Irma) preparing the elastic for the straps.

Thank you so much!
