William's Medical Fund

For those of you who don't know Todd and Kayla, they have two sons Evan and William.  William decided to come into this amazing world early and he had to be put in the NICU for 76 long days. With this they found out he had a congenital heart defect, which caused him to get seriously ill and have heart surgery. He later caught bronchitus and was losing his oxygen levels so he went back to the hospital and had to be placed on CPAP. Since then William had to be paralyzed to prevent him from fighting with the ventilator, caught strep, coded twice, and so much more. The imaginable has happened to poor William and the parents have stood right by his side the entire time.

Everyone who knows Todd and Kayla understands how great of people they are and what sacrifices and hardships them have encountered over the last 6 months. Kayla has been living at the hosptial and Todd recently took the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), which allows him to be with his family when they need it the most and keep his job but won't get paid. Their income is very limited and as a small commuity I know the least we can do is provide them with a sense of reassurance and fulfillment.
