Escaping a Sociopathic Stalker

Around 5:30am on February 23rd I woke up to a strange sound and found my  ex-boyfriend kneeled next to my bed trying to go thru my phone. When I acknowledged him, he got up and starting punching me repeatedly in my face, back, and arms before running out of the house. The police were called immediately and he was arrested the same day....only to be released on February 24th on his own recognizance, regardless of him being a trained professional UFC fighter. 

Prior to him breaking in, on the 21st my car suddenly broke down. On the 22nd I was fired from my job after being praised just the day prior. And also on the same day, this psycho  cut the front and rear brake lines to my friends' motorcycle that was in my driveway. Everything is starting to point to this man!!!!

He knows where I live, where my family stays, and where my children go to school. My ten-year-old daughter has begun piling things by the doors out of fear of this man breaking in. We have started taking family trips to the kitchen downstairs and the bathroom just down the hall....simply because no one wants to be alone out of fear. Now that he has been released from jail, we no longer feel safe staying at home. He has been lying to his family about his whereabouts that night, but the friend whose car he stole to come to my house, has already told me she knows he did it and that it was all a planned out attack....he left his cell phone at her house but told the cops he lost it.

My mother passed away from cancer and my father was killed year ago....I have no one to go to, outside of my 82 yr old grandmother whose safety I am concerned about as well because this crazy fool has popped up to her house looking for me before. I'm getting threats from his family, and it's no way my children and I are safe here. I just moved into my townhouse in December, but I can't continue to walk around with a knife in my hand out of fear that this man is in my house somewhere hiding....I can't walk outside to take the trash out without protection because I don't know if he's outside. He's lurked by my windows, busted windows, and climbed thru my 2nd floor. We have to get away and as much as I've never been the type to ask for help (y'all know I'm the hardworking stubborn type).....but WE NEED HELP! My kids and I are afraid for our safety and have nowhere else to go
