Merucci Home Destroyed by Fire 5-16-14
The blessing - Kelly, John, son Jack, and the cats are all safe. Temporary housing has been obtained and their home is boarded up. Everything in the Merucci's home has been destroyed or damaged. Their home is most likely a total loss. A neighbor reported the fire when flames were visiable. It appears the fire started in the basement and quickly traveled up the walls to the attic.
Donations will be given to John and Kelly to help them cover some of the expenses they will incur trying to get their life back to "normal". The goal is $5,000. The Marshall Neighborhood Association will receive the funds from GoFundMe and will then give the money to the family. If you prefer to donate by check it can be made out to the "Marshall Neighborhood Assoc. - Merucci Fire" and sent to Marshall Neighborhood Assoc., C/O Jackson & Jackson, 123 E. Mansion Street, Marshall, MI 49068. You are also welcome to call [Telefonnummer bearbeitet] for more details. Thank you for considering these neighbors.
