Kyle Herron-medical expense's

Donation protected
Kyle was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) when he was 16. He was considered an "early responder" when treated at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. He successfully overcame his cancer after completing the five year protocol at Doerbecher's, and was considered a "cancer survivor."

In October 2013, Kyle began losing weight, and was unable to maintain his health. In December of that same year, he was again diagonosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since then, he has had to repeat a similar, but more aggresive, treatment protocol, similar to the one originally prescribed to him at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. He struggles every day to keep a postive outlook on his future.

Kyle has completed two phases of a three phase protocol to combat his leukemia. His brother, Masen Herron, has been matched as a Bone Marrow Transplant donor. On April 21st, Kyle entered OHSU to receive his Bone Marrow Transplant. His stay will depend on his progress, and then he must live within a short distance from the hospital during his initial recovery, which could take up to three or four months.
Asked what he wants more than anything? Kyle's response is, "  to live."

There are many expenses associated with Kyle's illness and treatment, including medical expenses, housing, food, travel and time away from work for his parents.
