Remembering Katie

Hi all,
my name is Cait McArdle. Myself and Katie were childhood best friends - more like family. I’ve lived in the Isle of Man but currently live on the Wirral. Like I mentioned, Katie was family to me and that goes without saying that Katie’s family is also like my family. I’ve been in contact with Becky, Sophie and Brandon since Katie’s passing & will continue to stay in contact with them!
We are all so thankful for everything you are all doing for Katie’s family & in Katie’s remembrance. She would love all of this & I’m sure she’s watching us all with pure joy and love. I’ve decided to raise some money on behalf of Katie. She was such a huge advocate for mental health and as many of you will already know, she will always go out of her way to put a smile on anyone’s face. She’s made such a big impact on our lives and she had so many plans for the next year but she sadly left us this weekend. My idea was to raise £500. We all achieved this in just 9 hours! Thankyou again!
We are going to donate 20% of the full donation to a mental health charity of the families choosing in Katie’s name and the other 80% is going to be donated to Katie’s family via cheque by myself...This money will be used to help the family out in any way they might need around this terrible time. We will keep you all updated when we decide what charity we have chosen and also let you know once the cheque has been received by the family.
