Keep the Dream Alive

“This place is a dream realized!” We recently heard this from a Canton resident. During this time as we celebrate all we are thankful for, we thank YOU for helping us make the dream a reality. Together we have created a place for the community to gather; a place where artists of all ages and abilities can express themselves; a place where physical movement creates healthy bodies and minds; a place for veterans in need of housing and support to call home and a place that has become a destination to celebrate the diversity of our community

In collaborations with our tenants and volunteers, and despite the challenges of the pandemic, 2021 was a year filled with inclusive programs and events, new partnerships, the historic dorm building opening its doors to local veterans and full operation of the Warehouse, a building which has quickly become an anchor for Cherry Hill Village.

The successes of 2021 have certainly been rewarding; however, the challenges we face are real. During the next twelve months, we must raise at least $200,000 in addition to the rent and program revenue we collect to meet our financial obligations. You have believed in us and our mission and we hope we can count on your continued support.

Your contributions will help us replace the leaking roof at the Veteran’s Dorm, offer inclusive programs and events for the entire community, maintain affordable rents that support the dreams of the artists, offer free art classes to veterans and provide a place for the community to come together. The arts help us heal through the expression of our experiences and exploring our emotions. The arts help us all understand and relate to each other on so many levels. We hope that you will continue to help us fulfill our mission.
