Funeral expense

Shawna Ann Amella passed away on August 2, 2018.  Daughter of Albert (Jomary) Amella III and Kathleen Belleman, she was only 38.

Shawna went blind at age 6 ½ due to an inoperable brain tumor on her optic nerve.  She was a survivor however, and as she grew up she was very intent on living life and being independent.  She never let her blindness stop her from living a full and rich life.

Although her life was challenging due to her blindness and other heath issues, she maintained a positive spirit and attitude.  Sadly, she recently suffered a series of three strokes, the final one that caused her passing.

Her family is struggling, as they work to grieve her sudden passing and raise the sizable unexpected expenses to lay her to peace.  They would greatly appreciate any and all assistance.  Her father Albert Amella is responsible for all final expenses, which are due in two weeks.

Any funds received over and above those needed for her funeral expenses which be donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind, a charitable organization, whose mission she greatly supported
