I am asking for help for an amazing family that has had a very rough few years. They currently need support and prayers for their beautiful son, JJ has a blood clot on his lung and Influenza B . He has a life threatening disease, panhypogammaglobuliniema. This is an immune disease . JJ was born without antibodies to fight infections . He also has herniated disks right now .
He is also on the autism spectrum and has never felt pain before now . His pain is heightened due to his disease . This is the first time in his 20 years he has ever been able to feel pain . Because his disease is an immune disease being in a hospital right now makes it VERY dangerous and LIFE THREATENING for him . He can not be protected against the germs in a hospital setting .
His dad was just hospitalized twice once in Oct and once in December. The medical bills from these stays are thousands of dollars that they are responsible for . They have an insurance policy with a very high deductible before any payment is made they have to meet the deductible. At the time of John's hospitalizations they hadn't met the deductible. They are hoping with all the treatments for JJ that they have now . Liz had to take a leave of absence from work to care for JJ she is not getting paid for this leave . They depend on her salary to meet their expenses . With her not working they won't be able to meet their everyday expenses like the mortgage let alone all these hospital bills .
Having a child like JJ , with a life threatening disease doesn't allow for a whole lot extra .
It is my hope that we can help John and Liz to be able to provide the care JJ needs without having to worry how are they going to pay the bills .

This family is and has suffered so much I pray starting this go fund me will help them. My dearest friend Liz and John, son's JJ, Eddie . Their older son , Kyle passed away They have foundation in honor of Kyle who passed away from sudden cardiac death and since they have remained strong and pushed to get free screenings for high school kids in their area. They fight through the grief of losing Kyle and made it into a way to save other children by offering and organizing free cardiac screening at the school. This family needs our help. Any amount is greatly appreciated and if you can not help please say a prayer for the family.
