Rachele Turner Recovery Fund

Rachele is our amazing niece who is currently recovering from complications from a heart transplant she received on March 22, 2014. Please join our family and friends in raising funds to help with the overwhelming medical bills, recovery costs (medications, meals, transportation, etc.) and provide assistance to her parents as they spend every day with her in the hospital.

On March 22, 2014, after months on the transplant list, Rachele received the news that a heart was ready for her. She went in to one of the nation's top hospitals for the procedue, but things didn't go as expected. Her liver and kidneys began to shut down and her body began rejecting the new heart. In addition to being put in a medically induced coma for over a week, Rachele has suffered seizures, endured dialysis, internal bleeding and has had her heart stop at least once.

We are happy to say she is on the road to recovery and ask for your help financially while her parents provide her support spiritually. She is regaining her ability to talk and to move. There is a long road ahead and she is determined to run a marathon sooner rather than later. Thank you in advance for your help.
