Sweetwater WASP Museum or Bust!

The WASP’s story (Women Airforce Service Pilots) is a huge part of the history of women pilots in America. We will never forget the WASP's participation in WWII and the trail they blazed for future women pilots. LadiesLoveTaildraggers will be flying to the home of the WASPs, Avenger Field, Sweetwater, TX during our Fall Haunted Flying Tour .  We cannot tourTexas without visiting Sweetwater and pay homage to the contributions made by the WASPs. Of all the many stops we’ll make during our flying tour, this will be our keynote destination. 

The National WASP WWII Museum is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and funding allows the Museum to expand its efforts in educating the public on the story and legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. The required donation for LadiesLoveTaildraggers (or any organization) to use the museum & hangar as a gathering point is $750.  Meals are a separate cost. This is a necessary expense and I have paid donations to other venues where LadiesLoveTaildraggers has met. I understand the necessity for a non-profit to remain financially solvent to continue their mission.

I have started this GoFundMe Campaign in hopes of raising the funds. With the GoFundMe fees and the associated payment processing fees, I must raise $817.50 to cover the full amount. I really don’t like to ask for money, but I can’t afford to pay it by myself. Do not send your donation directly to the WASP Museum or it will not be credited to the LadiesLoveTaildraggers event.  Please help.
