July 13, 2013 was a day that forever changed the course of one family's lives, but did not break their faith.
The Willis family - Bruce, Tarrah, and their three young children, Alyssa (8), Bryce (2) and Brayden (1) were involved in a horrible auto accident when they were rear ended by a semi truck. The children were seriously injured. Alyssa had three fractured ribs and a severely bruised leg and hip. Brayden's right femur was fractured in half and he suffered carotid dissection resulting in a stroke on the right side of his brain which affected his left side. He also had a fractured neck. Brayden is still in therapy and still is unable to use his left arm. Bryce has a traumatic brain injury. The TBI has left him non verbal (unless he is in pain). He is unable to eat anything by mouth and unable to walk or support his head. Bryce is undergoing a lot of therapies including Hyperbaric, PT, OT, and ST. Every day is a challenge of learning to adjust and cope. As medical costs continue to rise, there is nothing these amazing parents won't do to see their babies healed. These costs include weekly medical visits, travel, medical equipment, as well as missed work for the parents.
Any donations to the family would be much appreciated to help take some of the stress off of the heavy load they carry.
Life is a precious gift, so love with all you have and cherish the little things.
Luke 1:37 -For with God nothing shall be impossible.
