Johnny Beat Brain Cancer Fund

Hello family & friends.  This Go Fund Me page is dedicated to my brother, Johnny Ramirez, who has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 tumor.  Johnny is 37 years old and found out less than two years ago that he has a large Grade 2 tumor on his brain.  Since his diagnosis, in August 2012, he has had a brain surgery to biopsy the tumor. At that time the surgeon was able to remove only 1/3 of the cancerous tumor because of its delicate location.  He has been on numerous medications since then to help with the symptoms & has been put on chemotherapy to help shrink the tumor.  In May, Johnny had to have an emergancy surgery to have cysts removed from inside the tumor.  Three days after the surgery, on May 19, 2014, Johnny was blessed to be able to make it to the hospital to see his son, Mason, be born.  Last month, June 2014, Johnny was rushed to Sloan Kettering for another emergency brain surgery. After this surgery the surgeon found another mass(tumor) and was successful in removing that one. Unfortunately, though, Johnny's condition got worse, his tumor has now been diagnosed to a Grade 3. Johnny is currently going through radiation. He has changed his diet to all organic foods which are very costly. He is trying various methods of treatments such as seeing a holistic doctor as well as recently about to start going to an acupuncturist. His treatment/therapies and doctor visits are to no end. He is seeking clinical trials. Needless to say, Johnny has been unable to do his normal day-to-day routines such as driving, lifting heavy things, over exertion and being able to go to work due his medical condition.  I am hoping this page helps to raise funds necessary for expenses that his insurance will not cover and living costs.
