Jamaica Mission trip

Dear Family & Friends,
I hope that you’re having a wonderful week! This spring God has given me the opportunity to go on a mission trip with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) to Jamaica. Last year I visited Jamaica for fun with my family and I remember thinking how much the people of Jamaica needed to hear about Christ. They had such warm inviting smiles but I could see that their was pain and a need for something more behind those smiles. God really did make it clear that he wanted me to be back in Jamaica next time to expand His kingdom.
I think that many Jamaicans profess to be religious, but they don’t truly understand what it means to have really have a relationship with the Lord through His son Jesus Christ. I feel very passionate about letting others know how much our father loves us and how he wants a relationship with us. The team of missionaries that are in Jamaica say that the students there are hungry to learn and interested about what we have to share. My days in Kingston will be spent talking to students and building relationships on campus to help share the truth about our Father. We will also spend time working with a compassion ministry doing humanitarian relief work in the poorest places in the city. I cant explain how much joy I have to go on this trip and for all that God has instore.
I am writing to ask if you would first, please join my team in your prayers. We hope to bring many people to Christ through this mission trip.
Secondly, would you please consider supporting me financially for this outreach? The cost of this eight day mission trip is $1,750. This incudes all travel and living expenses. If you are willing and able to financially support my mission to Kingston, Please send the check to 803 Glenchester st. 77079. Checks can be made payable to CRU and are tax-deductible. (Please put my name in the memo like of the check. The deadline for raising support is March 7th.
I cannot wait to share with you all that God does through our team of college students and staff as we take the hope and love of God to the people of Jamaica.
