In 2009 Kristina was continuously visiting the Doctors office with a complaint of chest pain. Multiple doctors told Kristina that it was a pinched nerve or possibly a pulled muscle. In February of 2010 Kristina woke up with a lump in her chest. Following endless procedures and exams, Kristina was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After this diagnosis Kristina suffered from a stroke, heart attack, paralysis, organ failure and was put on life support for 13 days. Kristina has battled this disease for four years and counting. The countless complications has piled up resulting in life-long bladder complications, lost toes, and multiple organs being removed. For Kristina, her family and friends it feels like the problems come and come with little to no relief on Kristina's part. Kristina recently has been complaining of complications again. After multiple trips to the ER, tests, and endless stress and anxiety the doctors have found masses in both kidneys. There is a possibility that cancer has returned which could result in trips to Boston for treatment and further expenses. We all know of the expenses that can accumulate from doctor visits, tests, gas, food, Kristina's wonderful mom sacrificing her time and much more. We have created this page to help with some of these expenses to relieve her and her family in a small way.
