Fundraiser for Katie

A couple of months ago my niece was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (A.L.L.) she was just 10 at the time actually turning 11 a couple weeks later spending her birthday in the hospital. it seemed to have come out of nowhere, she had ben healthy then had what seemed to be a virus that after a week of high fevers led to her going to the hospital, 2nd day in the hospital they diagnosed her and the 3rd day started Chemotherapy. 
                 So now for my fundraising mission. as many of you know a couple of summers ago I had the odd idea of rasing money by dying my hair pink for cancer it was a huge success we raised $700 for the jimmy fund and I had bubblegum pink hair for 7 weeks. This time I'm going to do crayola orange not only is it Katie's favorite color but it's also the color of the leukemia awarenes ribbon.
                 This is very personal for my wife and I. Katie is a wonderful girl and comes from a great family. they are in for a long battle and we want to do anything we can to help. I'm going to be posting and reposting this over the next month and I will be begging all of you to post this yourselves on your page and then ask your friends to post on thier pages and so on and so on. the best chance for this to be hugely succesfull is to spread the word like wildfire.
                 those of you who can donate, anything will help, I set a lofty goal and although I know it's and outrageous amount I didnt want to set a small goal and have people turn away once it was hit. every dime will go to them for medical expenses and any ohter needs they may have.
                   thank you all in advance and I apologize for the constant and relentless barage i'm going to hit you all with over the next month but I wouldn't do it if I didn't truly believe in the cause...... George
