Help paying my father's funeral expenses
Donation protected
In 2011 my father was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Over the course of the previous year he lost over 100 lbs and was forced to fight for his life. After three months of hospitalization and a surgery that took his spleen, part of his pancreas, 60% of his stomach, and a section large intestine my father was literally half the man he used to be.
After a couple of setbacks, he eventually was able to take chemotherapy treatments and miraculously went into remission in late 2013.
I will never forget the morning i was on shift and I got the call from my mother saying ," Your Daddy is gone". When we thought we was finally out of the water, he passed from complications from COPD.
As unexpected as it was, we had no prior arrangements. It was something he didn't like talking about. My father spent 20 years at the local auto sales company but was left with no retirement , no savings, and no life insurance to help with expenses.
I know money is tight for everyone these days but anything and everything helps and will not go unappreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing the page with a friend or two.
From the depths of my heart, thank you in advance for your kindness.
