Distraught Mr Porn petitions hospital for explanation after wife and son die after childbirth
Mr Porn, a 42 year-old taxi driver, lost both his wife and his two-day-old son Atsawin Inthawong, following complications after childbirth at Vachira Phuket Hospital.

According to Thai tradition Mr Porn's departed wife and child will need to be returned to her home village for cremation. It is a very expensive exercise.
