Before the existence of Centro Victoria, the shelter's children, ages two to 23, were destined for a life of poverty and exposure to violence with little hope for a fruitful future.
The creation of the center has changed the lives of these children, providing them stability they couldn't have dreamed of before. Not only do they have food on the table, a bed to sleep in and the love of so many in Mexico and abroad, they are encouraged to thrive in their academics as well.
Our most ambitious and important dream for the children thus far is to send them to El Paso Community College in Texas where they can earn a degree and solidify a more promising adulthood. We are happy to say four are currently attending the college!
The children at Centro Victoria are happy and hardworking, playful and positive. Help us to continue to give them hope for the life they deserve.
