Javier Covarrubias

Javier Covarrubias was 47 years of age, the sixth son of Carlos and Lilia Covarrubias, he was was a caring son, a loving husband, and dedicated brother. Javier recently celebrated his 25th anniversary with his wife Delia. He was a great and proud father to Juliana, Javier Jr. and Jessica, he was a tough uncle, and a dear friend to everyone. Javier loved motorcycles from a young age and also became an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed being around friends & family. He was a grocery store worker for 25 years most recently at Gelson's Supermarket where he was also a union representative for UFCW 770, he was always interested in doing what is right for people. Javier was a straight shooter and there was no grey area with him. He always spoke his mind.  Javier could be stubborn as a mule, but always with good intentions. Javier had the worst of luck by getting infected by COVID-19 while doing his job. Javier fought tremendously for his life for the past two months with no intention of giving up. He battled pneumonia, lung complications, two cardiac arrests, and was pushing for his organs to start working again. He is in God's hands now and resting in peace. He past at 1:30am on Sunday, May 24, 2020.
