Help Sam Make it to June 30!

Sam Shiver needs our help! If you know Sam, you know an incredible, strong and persistent woman, a kind, caring and loving mom and a smart, funny and dedicated friend. And this week, this woman, Layla's mom, our friend needs our help. 

From a note she posted this evening:

I'll get my first paycheck from my new job (which I'm excited about and thankful for) at the end of June. I don't have enough money to make it until then. My family has truly pulled together for me, but I know I've drained them. My account has been overdrawn more this week than it has in its entire life. And I've not fully disclosed the extent to which I am struggling with anyone. I'm not sure where to find money for daycare, gas, or monthly bills. The only reason I have enough food is because I stocked up just in case this happened.

I think we've all been there - that place where we knew we needed help and we didn't want to ask. Sam doesn't want to ask for help, but she agreed that I could ask on her behalf. 

Sam will have to pay double rent in June for her current place and her new place. She's got additional expenses related to moving for her new job and her typical bills. Anything that we can contribute will help her tremendously. 

For Sam - and her sweet Layla - would you donate to help them make ends meet for the next month? She needs to have the money by the first of the month to pay rent, so let's raise this for her by May 23 so she can move and get settled knowing that she can turn the lights on and eat, too.
