Help Josh Kick Cancer Once and For All
Donation protected
Josh was first diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in August 2009, the beginning of his senior year in high school. After an intial week in ICU, he underwent 6 months of ABVD chemotherapy. He completed treatment in March of 2010 and was able to graduate with his class. The treatment caused osteonecrosis in both knees which will ultimately require knee replacements.
He had his semi-annual CT scan in March 2014, 4 years into remission and 1 year away from calling it a cure.
On April 15, 2014 Josh and his family were told he was recurrent Hodgkins. His first child, a daughter, is due on May 31, 2014. He will be going inpatient in mid-June to have high dose chemo followed by a stem cell transplant. He will be in the hospital for 3 weeks and will return home to continue to battle the after effects of chemo and regain his strength. Josh will not be able to work for at least the next 6 months.
We all know what a strain a new baby can bring financially, and on top of that now, Josh has the financial burden of dealing with beating cancer. We are hoping to help Josh and his family out by asking you to donate as little or as much as you would like to help this young man and his new family.
