Itn'l Nursing Service Project - Brazil

Hi Everyone

My name is Cecille Cruz and I am currently a senior at Chamberlain College of Nursing.  I have been accepted to go on what may be the biggest opportunity in my college career - a two-week service project where I will be providing medical support to underserved communities in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.

As you can see, many of these patients have never seen a doctor, nurse, or dentist - not by choice but because they have no means and lack healthcare options to do so. A previous group who went to Brazil saw 1,140 patients and performed 3,974 procedures. Imagine what kind of differences can be made in the lives of these patients!

I realize that budgets are tight, but please be as generous as you are able. The money raised will go towards:

airfare
in-country lodging
in-country meals
translators
travel insurance card
in-country transportation
administrative fees
medical supplies

Anything raised past $3,300 will be used for purchasing medications at the pharmacy for the Brazilian patients.
