As you know, God has brought me to Hungary many times. It's a place I deeply love and care about. Even more, I deeply love and care about the people I've met there. The support of so many people here in the US as I've traveled to Hungary over the years has been so important in the ministry there. This summer, God has given me the opportunity to return. It will be my sixth trip there! I'll be there from July 4-21.
The first week will be spent assisting with a VBS-type summer camp in Debrecen, Hungary. We'll be leading Bible studies, teaching sports, doing crafts, and running evening activities with the teens. The camp attendees will be underprivileged teens. This is a chance for these young people to experience the love of Christ in a tangible way. I'm absolutely thrilled to get to go this summer!
The second week is not completely planned yet, as details are still being worked out. I will most likely be serving in some capacity in the city of Kecskemet, Hungary.
The total cost of the trip will be about $2000. $1,500 of that is our flights, and $500 for train, camp fees, supplies, etc. I would be incredibly grateful if you are able to help (even in a small way) to fund this trip.
With me, I bring the message of Christ's love, hope, and healing. This is why I feel that God has led me to return to Hungary.
