Dr. Jaimie Armstrong Wise, a 2006 graduate of LSU Veterinary Medicine, has spent much of her career donating her time and resources to help and save the lives of animals through various rescue organizations. She's continuously giving to the community and now she is in a time of need!
She and her husband Joe have been trying to adopt a child for the past year. During their wait they proceeded to open a new veterinary clinic, Wise Choice Animal Hospital which opened January 2nd, 2014 where she could continue to give her knowledge and care to pets in need.
Monday morning May 5, 2014, they recieved the call they have been waiting for. They had been chosen by birth parents in Monroe, LA to adopt a baby boy born May 3rd, at 8:56pm, at just 25 weeks and 1lb, 9oz. He is currently in the NICU and doing well per the doctors, but he has a long road ahead of him.
Wesley Andrew Wise is already loved by so many, but adoptions are costly and with finances so newly tied up in the clinic, extreme measures have been taken to secure his place in the home of the Wise family.

It's time to give back to the family that has given so much. I've never met a couple with bigger hearts than Dr. Jaimie and Joe. They are not only amazing employers, but great friends as well. Every donation, no matter how big, or how small will help and be greatly appreciated.
