This fundraiser was created to help my parents raise funds to fight for their son and my brother Eddie. Unfortunately, sometimes our judicial system isn't based on right and wrongs....sadly it can just be based on the luck of the draw. Unfortunately we were not lucky and were dealt a bad hand in our situation. The only way to make things right is to fight against these wrong accusations. Lots of times we don't fight because we don't have the financial means to get proper legal representation but my parents will not let their remaining son go without a fight and fair trail. On 1/3/14 my little brothers Eddie (22) and Danny (16) were invited to a party. They went to this party together because they were very close and Danny always wanted to be with his older brother. There were 3 kids that needed a ride home so Eddie offered to drop them off. Eddie was on his way to drop off one of the passengers Please keep in mind Eddie had a Scion FRS which are structured very low to the ground. He did not see the dip and his car hit the cement which made him lose control of his car. He hit the curb and paniced and hit the gas which caused the car to hit an iron fence and tree then flip a few times ejecting the passengers in the back seat. All the passengers suffered minor to severe injuries but are blessed to be here today. That day we lost our beloved Danny. He was not your typical teen. He was glued to my moms hip and would always call me to see if he can visit his little nieces and take them to frozen yogurt and wagon rides around the block. We all had a special relationship with our Danny. WE LOVE HIM AND MISS HIM EVERYDAY. 5 months later just w few days before Danny's birthday Eddie was given a notice to report to court. He was charged by the DA for the death of my brother due to driving while impaired. They have charged Eddie so severely that our attorney said Eddie can be in prison for over 26 years. They are not saying this is a DUI the blood alcohol level was not over the legal limit. They did not do a breathelizer on Eddie that night. They are trying to build a case against him and never mention that the dip was the factor of the accident. We have had numerous witnesses that have lots of facts that will prove Eddie was not impaired. They will be key in proving his innocence. My brother has lived in Downey all his life with my parents and graduated from Warren High School. He has no past criminal record. He is doesn't deserve to be put through this. Originally Eddie was put in jail on his court date. We had no money to bail him out but the bail bonds rep was so touched by our story that he was able to get an outstanding deal for us that made it affordable to bring Eddie home this weekend! God touched his heart and through him he asked him to help us bring Eddie home. Now we will pray that God can open the hearts of all who read our story and make everyone feel just a bit of our pain and struggle. We need to raise this money to give Eddie a trial wit an attorney who has her heart in our case. Please donate and share this with any person you know. You never know whose hearts God will speak to.

MESSAGE FROM EDDIE"S MOM
This note is to thank everyone for all their support. Not an hour goes by that I don't miss my youngest son Danny. He was a jokester who always made me laugh, who shared his funny stories, who was always there for me. Now he's gone but I still have my oldest son Eddie. Please continue to help me and my family raise the funds to help Eddie get a fair trial. The courts want him in jail for 25 years. Eddie lost control of the car and Danny passed away but it was an accident and Eddie wishes he had never lost control of the car and his little brother would still be hanging out with him. Eddie doesn't deserve to be in jail for so many years. I need to help Eddie. He was a good older brother to my son Danny. He is a good son who had just found Christ and had many good plans for his future and in memory of Danny wanted to be a good example to everyone around him. Thank you for helping me and my family
