Mulherin Home

Mulherin Home, a 501(c) (3) organization, was founded in 1952 as a home for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. The goal of Mulherin Home is to create an environment as close to a real "home" as possible. We are not an institution, a hospital or a nursing home. Our residents are cared for and loved like family and their happiness is the top priority of all the staff here. We are a United Way organization and rely on donations as our primary income. We are determined our residents will continue to receive the quality of care they deserve so this is why we are reaching out to you. We need to increase our donations drastically in order to survive. We currently have 31 residents in our care and where some of them have family who are actively involved in their lives, many of our residents have no one. This IS their family and the only one they have ever known. We are reaching out to the community to help fill in the gaps which seem to increase every day. Please donate what you can. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in the upcoming weeks for operational costs. Please share with everyone you know and help us reach this goal.
