Hayden Needs Surgery for Epispadias

Hayden Kyle is the oldest of our 10 month old identical twin boys. Hayden was born with a condition called Epispadias. Epispadias is a rare defect that is present at birth (congenital). It is located at the opening of the urethra. In this condition, the urethra does not develop into a full tube. The urine exits the body from the wrong place. When consulting a urologist at Johns Hopkins they told us that his case was a fairly severe surface case and that there was only one doctor on the East Coast who was qualified enough to perform such a major reconstruction surgery on a child so young. He is having Penile Epispadias Reconstruction surgery on August 1, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. While Justin and I both work to support our twin boys we are unable to pay for the medical costs. You're donations would be used to help pay for Hayden's surgery and 5 day hospital stay as well as the various tests they will do for the next 5-6 years after to insure that the surgery was successful and that no further problems are developing.
