Help Joshie fight Spina Bifida

Joshua is our 4 year old son who was born with Spina Bifida. He also suffers from hydrocephalus and has a VP Shunt and neurogenic bowel and bladder. His urological issues require us to catheterizing him 4 times per day to prevent and protect him from kidney disease and give him enemas through a stoma in his belly button each night; all of which are uncomfortable for him. Joshua is partially paralyzed below his waist and has several orthopedic impairments. He has had 10 surgeries so far, the most recent one being a spinal surgery to detether his spinal cord. The number of surgeries he is projected to have are unimaginable and we just take life one day at a time. In his short life he has had a frontal lobe blood clot, skull tumor, hernias, a MRSA infected Abcess, countless urinary tract infections, ER visits, a kidney infection, and endless visits to a number of different specialist at CHOC Hospital. Each hospital admission is a $500 copay, not including deductibles and OOP expenses. We are so grateful for the donations that helped us reach our goal to get him a custom pediatric wheelchair that will allow him to get around as fast and efficient as other boys his age. As he gets bigger his little body is getting heavier and harder to carry around using his walker and he is wanting to be carried more and more. He has about a year before he'll start kindergarten and will then require use of a chair full time . Because he can't walk long distances with his walker, any family outings limit him to a stroller. The wheelchair will give him the independence we so desire for our son.

Now we are hoping to raise money to help with his medical bills that continue to pour in a long with our $20k in debt we have accumulated for his care for the past 4 years.
