Hope for a Mothers Quality of Life to be Restored

If you have ever met Jen, been surrounded by her presence or even crossed her path for a brief moment in time, you would know what an incredibly amazing heart she has. Jen truly has a heart of gold, and to have Jen in your life is like winning the lottery of friendships. She would do ANYTHING for anyone, even she didn't know you. As two of Jen's friends, seeing firsthand the pain and suffering she has gone through in the last 7 years and not being able to give her the life she deserves is truly heartbreaking. We all know the power of prayer and the power of a community coming together. We would like to share with you, in Jen's words her testimony, her hope for a brighter future and how you can help!

I have been sick every single day since June 2016. I am unable to work and each day is a struggle to get out of bed. Many days I am bedbound. I have seen dozens of different physicians and specialists. MDs, NDs, neurologists, psychologists, gastroenterologists, cardiologists, immunologists, and dermatologists; to name just a few. I’ve had dozens of tests, scopes, ultrasounds, invasive procedures, EKGs, x-rays, ct scans, barium swallows, stress tests, neurological tests etc. I’ve had my blood taken too many times to count. I have debilitating symptoms that rotate and change weekly, sometimes daily. I’ve begged my doctors to help me. They’d end nearly all appointments with, “ your blood tests come back fine, you really need to consider that this is all in your head”. I’ve been offered antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication almost every time. I finally did decide to take it years back as a last hope, and it changed nothing. I was not depressed, and I am not anxious but after years of mystery symptoms and medical gaslighting, one does become a little depressed and anxious, wondering what hell the next day is going to bring. How did I just wake up one day to have my life completely turned upside down? Some of my symptoms are full body pain, rashes, migraines, jaw pain, joint pain, burning mouth syndrome, internal tremors, inability to regulate body temperature and autonomic system, organ pain, lost my ability to drive long distances, severe reflux, esophageal spasms, muscle twitches and tremors, vertigo, muscle spasms, sinus issues, disassociation, severe anxiety, chronic nausea, chronic stomach pain, swallowing issues, horrible fatigue, chronic inflammation, neuropathy, air hunger, shortness of breath, slipping ribs and discs, dysautonomia..and the list goes on. I deal with these daily. For nearly 7 years I have not had a single symptom-free day. Ive also suffered the greatest losses of my life which has not helped my health whatsoever. In 2019 I lost my Dad and in 2021 I lost Mom, who my sister and I became full-time caretakers for, as she died of lung cancer at home.

By God's grace, I found an incredible integrative doctor who deals with complex “mystery illnesses”, like mine. He never once blamed this on anxiety, or it being a figment of my imagination. He spent hours with me, asking me every possible question imaginable. It was the first time I felt HEARD and understood. He sent me for the testing he felt appropriate. I had 80 vials of blood taken for his testing alone. Finally, FINALLY, 6+ years later I could see a light at the end of the tunnel. I finally had a diagnosis after years of suffering. I have Mast cell Activation syndrome , Lyme co-infections-multiple Bartonella infections, Epstein Barr, mycoplasma, toxic mold illness, nutrient and immune deficiencies and more. 

As brilliant and wonderful this doctor is I’m struggling with the protocol, traveling 3 hours each way for treatments (which run in the multiple thousands of dollars each time) and the monthly cost for minerals, nutrients, supplements and special foods which cost up to $2000 a month.

A woman I met in clinic who now is one of my closest friends went to Mexico to Stemaid Institute for stem cell treatment recently and it completely changed her life. She was so severe, having episodes of anaphylaxis due to Mast cell activation and since treatment she is off all medication , symptom free and her health is back to normal. This treatment is my only hope. I simply cannot go on another year like this as my health is deteriorating everyday. Since I have been sick for so long my body is becoming weaker and my immune system is completely taxed.

This is what brings me here. My friends asked if they could start a Go Fund Me. It’s very difficult for me to ask for help. I accept now that I do need help; I cannot possibly do this without help. The possibility of having my health and my life back is unimaginable after years of suffering but I know it’s a reality with this treatment. I want so badly to be here for years to come to be the Mom my kids deserve, the wife my husband deserves and to live my life with purpose instead of only to survive the day. I want to return to the vibrant, full-of-life person I once was. This would absolutely change my life. This would GIVE ME my life back.
