Funeral Expenses for Laurrina

Donation protected
On May 2nd, the life of Laurrina Marquez ended as she was involved in a fatal car accident. (Please see the attached link for details on the accident.) There has been an outpouring of support from family and friends.

With such an unexpected loss, the financial burden is on the family. We would like to help support the family in any way we can. Laurrina was a caring, loving, beautiful young lady with a whole world ahead of her. She was full of light and life. She had the ability to bring people together; from the moment she was born, filling up the waiting room; to the countless friends and family presently supporting the famlily in their time of need.

Laurrina was raised by her mother and extened family in Santa Clara. She was a avid soccer player, beginning at age of eight until her untimley passing, even playing for the Santa Clara Super Stars (Winning 6 shut out championships). She had just completed her high school education at Santa Clara High School, and was in preparation to graduate on June 6 (she'd even just placed her cap and gown order). She was looking forward to going to the her senior prom, planning to go shopping this week for her dress. She loved her baby sister: they where inseparable. She loved being a babysitter to her baby sister and baby cousin, while their mothers were at work.

A brief description of Laurrina from one of her closest friends, Ana:

"Laurrina Marquez was our friend and family. She was the person you could always go to for anything. Whether it was for advice, a laugh, a good time, or a shoulder to cry on. She was the realest person ever. She would be honest and upfront with you to the a "T". People knew her as mamas, booboo, sister, daughter, homie, friend and so much more than a simple word could describe. She gave so much of her time to others, putting her time and energy into their difficulties. She was so giving and motherly in a way that all she would give was love. Her laugh was infectious. Her smile was a ray of sunshine and when she would cry all you would want to do was take the pain away any way possible and make her smile and laugh. Oh, and how she loved living. Classic cars and working on her gramps car, blasting music and listening to her sunday night oldies. Going to the lake or the beach. Her never ending obsession of buying Jordan's even knowing that she probably has some in her room she didn't knew she even had! She was pure beauty. Inside and out.

She encompassed all the good, loving pieces of humanity that we all posses."

For all the beauty Laurrina bestowed on us, we would like to help out the family as much as we can. Because this passing has been so tragically sudden, the financial burden is an unneeded necessity the family should not have to deal with it. Any contribution can help with all the expenses. Once again, any donation will help the family through this difficult time.

Thank you for taking the time in reading this page.
We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
